• Catchy Titles

Your blog titles should read like headlines to draw in more readers. Click here for some examples of catchy titles. The title must also be brief (less than eight words) to easily direct the reader to the information they seek using the keyword they entered. 

• Use Bullet Points 

When possible, get right to the point. Online readers, as you well know, prefer to quickly scan through content, so it's a good idea to format your content accordingly.

Engaging with readers through comments is the most crucial aspect of blogging, as it boosts engagement, leadership, and shares. You should also share your blog posts on social media platforms to expand your reach and encourage readers to share your content with their followers.

Focusing on shorter, more concise blog content can greatly boost engagement as it appeals to a broader readership. You should aim for 300 words per blog post.

• Add Visuals

Use images, infographics, videos, and other visual content to make your blog posts more engaging and shareable. I recommend you use Canva for creating interesting visuals, that is what I use for my blog!! here is the link to the website.

• Use A Multichannel Approach

Make your blog content available in both audio and video formats so that readers can watch or listen to it. I would definitely do this if it was possible with Blogger.com!

• Use Bold and Italics

Use Bold to draw attention to key words and phrases. Use Italics to put emphasis on an individual word and for foreign words and the names of books, movies, and TV shows.

 

• Do – Fail – Redo

Keep in mind that it takes time to increase blog engagement, so be patient and persistent in your efforts.
